Abstract
The electrostrictive effect of a Ba : PZT paraelectric ceramic was investigated using a sensitive capacitance dilatometer. This substance was found to exhibit a giant electrostrictive coefficient Q12 of −0.27 m4/C2, which is nearly five times as large as the value of Q12 for single‐crystal BaTiO3.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
