Abstract
The type experiments of Gurwitsch have been repeated, using as inductors roots of onion, hyacinth, willow, and colonies of bacteria (B. anthracoides), and as detectors onion roots and yeast colonies. In all experiments the irradiation was through quartz. The results range from [long dash]6 to +156% induction, confirming the existence of the mitogenetic ray.
