Abstract
A large variety of fatty acid derivatives are utilized by the cosmetics and toiletries industry to fulfill many functions in their products. These ingredients, based on renewable resources are reviewed with respect to source and method of manufacture, physical and functional properties, and the place they find in all types of cosmetic products.Keywords
