Abstract
Three new prenylflavanones, (1), (6), and (10), have been isolated from the chloroform extract of Erythrina sigmoidea Hua (Fabaceae) bark and characterised. Two of the three compounds exhibit noteworthy antibiotic activity against Gram-positive bacteria. Their structures were elucidated from spectral data and chemical correlations. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
