Calculation of Two-Electron, One-Photon—X-Ray Transition Energies

Abstract
It is shown that recently reported two-electron, one-photon —x-ray transition energies for collision-excited Fe and Ni ions can be described on the basis of Hartree-Fock calculations, provided that multiple ionic excitation and selection rules for transitions are taken into account.
