Abstract
The concept of waveguides and resonators operating at higher order modes is employed in the design of new microwave heating applicators where the available power is concentrated mainly in the region occupied by the product being processed. The results of a feasibility study carried out over a circular cylindrical waveguide resonator operating in the TM115 mode are presented. Keywords
