Abstract
To the Editor: The article by Tan et al. on the use of the flashlamp pulsed dye laser for the treatment of port-wine stains in children (Feb. 16 issue) 1 nicely presents the beneficial effects of this laser. We also have achieved very positive results in a similar patient population over the past three years, and believe that this is the current treatment of choice for such patients. It is fortuitous that the patients studied by Tan et al. all had pink-to-red stains, which we have observed respond the best to therapy. However, at least a third of our patients had . . .Keywords
