Abstract
The construction and operation of an apparatus is described which employs a blue light to attract house or stable flies to screens placed at the end of 2 cylindrical tubes connected in the form of a "U." The fly introduction chamber is located at the bottom of the "U." In check tests an equal number (50.01 [plus or minus] 0.64%) of flies went to each screen. Other tests indicated that the apparatus can be used to test attractants or repellents and the reaction of flies to odors. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
