Constituents of the Rhizome and Root Oils ofCatimbium latilabre(Ridl.) Holtt. from Vietnam

Abstract
The chemical composition of the rhizome and root oils of Catimbium latilabre (Ridl.) Holtt. was investigated by GC and GC/MS. More than 40 and 30 constituents, respectively, were found to be present in the oils. The main components in the rhizome oil were 1,8-cineole (25.3%), linalool (10.9%) and carotol (9.2%), while the root oil contained mainly citronellol (30.7%) and 1,8-cineole (11.6%).
