Abstract
A discussion on the structure of the nucleoid of Escherichia coli is presented. Isolation and properties of the in vitro nucleoid, possible artifacts incurred during the isolation of the nucleoid, a possible structure of the in vivo nucleoid, attachment of the nucleoid to the membrane and gross transcription control are among the topics considered. This publication has 21 references indexed in Scilit:
