Abstract
Two methods are used for mesoionic oxazolone formation in the synthesis of pyrroles in 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions. N-ethyl-N'-dimethylaminopropylcarbodiimide or silicon tetra-chloride are used to activate the N-acylamino acid. Keywords
