Abstract
Treatment of Gibberella pulicaris with ancymidol (6) causes an inhibition of diacetoxyscirpenol (4) formation and a concomitant accumulation of the trace intermediate trichodiene (1); the isolation and identification of (1) were facilitated by comparison with totally synthetic material.Keywords
