Suncus murinus submandibular gland and prostate are new sources of nerve growth factor

Abstract
The submandibular gland of male S. murinus contains as much nerve growth factor as male mouse submandibular gland. This fact is probably correlated with the presence of abundant secretory granules in striated ducts in both species.
