Abstract
A bioassay technique was devised in which precise micro amounts of materials can be transferred to the reproductive system of female house flies, Musca domestica L. Tests with mature virgin females treated with crude extracts of the ejaculatory duct showed the method to be extremely sensitive to the factor responsible for mating refusal. Little or no observable damage to the tissue, mortality, or other ill effects resulted from the procedure. Keywords
