Abstract
If the two photons emitted in an annihilation process are scattered, their initial crosspolarization leads to an angular correlation of the scattered radiation. This correlation effect is calculated, and yields a substantial azimuthal asymmetry. It is shown that one may regard the scattering of one photon as performing a partial analysis of the polarization of the other photon. Keywords
