Time-of-Flight Measurement of Particles with Laser-Induced Fluorescence in the Plume Produced by Laser Ablation of YBa2Cu3O7-x Target

Abstract
The time-of-flight (TOF) distributions of nonemissive particles in the plume produced by the laser ablation of an YBa2Cu3O7-x target are measured by laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy (LIF). The TOF distributions of Ba atoms and BaO molecules are presented for different O2 pressures, and the reaction kinetics with O2 are discussed.
