Abstract
With the rampant increase in patients with communicable diseases, including AIDS and Hepatitis B, a sound infection control program is vital. Focusing on the needs of administrators in community healthcare agencies such as home health agencies, long-term care facilities, and public health departments, the authors discuss infection control concepts and the primary components of an infection control program. Keywords
