Abstract
The cross sections for the production of charged pions and protons from the annihilation of 608-MeV/c antiprotons on , , and are presented. The sources of pion and proton emission are inferred from the rapidity distributions of the data. The results are compared to and seen to be in good agreement with intranuclear-cascade calculations.
