Abstract
Parr (70–147 mm) of Atlantic salmon Salmo salar L. from Big Brook, Terra Nova National Park, Newfoundland, were progressively acclimated to 27.5C in fresh water of the home stream, and the upper lethal temperature was determined by probit analysis to be 27.80C ± 0.41. This is essentially the ultimate upper lethal temperature. Keywords
