Abstract
During the aziridination of styrene with PhINR (R = SO 2 C 6 H 4 Me-p) the copper(III) catalyst [Cu(η 2 -S 2 CNMe 2 ) 2 ][FeCl 4 ] is converted into the crystallographically characterised tetraamido complex [Cu{η 2 -RNSC(NMe 2 )SNR} 2 ], a result of nitrene insertion into all four copper–sulfur bonds.
