Extramucosal Pyloromyotomy by Laparoscopy

Abstract
Since 1990, we have performed extramucosal pyloromyotomies by laparascopy in 70 infants presenting with congenital hypertrophic pyloric stenosis. Ever since the first cases, the technique and the instruments have been adapted. The surgical technique and the precautionary measures are here explained again. This technique is beneficial for infants with a better postoperative course and avoidance of any skin scar. Seit 1990 wurde bei 70 Kindern mit einer kongenitalen hypertrophen Pylorusstenose eine extramuköse Pyloromyotomie mittels Laparoskopie durchgefürt. Dabei wurden die angewandten Instrumente sowie die durchgeführte Technik fortlaufend verbessert. Einzelheiten werden in der Arbeit vorgestellt. Die Technik vermeidet jede Hautnarbe und ist mit einem besseren postoperativen Komfort für die Kinder verbunden.
