Abstract
This paper demonstrates how to establish the number of pair-group classifications for any given order that may differ in both topology and arrangement of identifiers. At N = 50 there are about 1080 different classifications, a figure of the order of the number of electrons in the universe. The large number of possible classifications of even quite low orders of entities underlines the problem of taxonomists in selecting any best classification. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
