Abstract
Double Walsh series is used to obtain the piecewise‐constant solutions of integral equations as well as convolution integral. Some special properties of the Walsh functions are derived. The Volterra and Fredholm integral equations are transformed, respectively, into simultaneous linear algebraic equations, which are then solved to obtain the piecewise constant solutions. Keywords
