Intracerebral Vascular Rupture

Abstract
Two cases of severe head trauma with intracerebral vascular rupture are reported. The angiographic signs are characteristic; 1 case showed localized extravasation of the contrast material into the sub-dural space through an arachnoidal tear. The 2nd case showed extravasation of the contrast material with diffusion into the brain substance. With common usage of cerebral angiography in severe trauma, intracerebral vascular rupture will be seen more frequently.
