Abstract
An accelerator producing quasicontinuous homogeneous plasma beams by means of a traveling wave has been developed. By a special feedback system, beams with a density of the order 1012 cm−3 and ion energies of the order of 100 eV can be produced corresponding to an equivalent current of 240 A. The accelerator is applied to the simulation and investigation of special aspects of the plasma wall interaction. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
