Abstract
The progress of an unselected sample of 498 veterans who had received personal counseling was evaluated by training officials in terms of "much," "some," and "no" improvement. Only one-fifth of the cases failed to show any improvement. " . . . the greater the number of counseling interviews, the greater were the chances for improvement."
