Abstract

TLC analysis was established for simple quantitative analysis. Seasonal variation in the content of stevioside and its content in the samples cultivated at 12 different places in Japan were examined by this method. In addition, 24 samples of classified by their morphological characteristics were examined for their stevioside productivity.
