Abstract
In the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technique the local tissue characterization is accomplished by measurements of the standard NMR parameters. The present report is concerned with physical factors influencing the MRI tissue characteristics. The effect of mechanical waves on the NMR parameters has been discussed. Keywords
