Abstract
An antheridium-inducing hormone (antheridiogen) derived from the fern species Onoclea sensibilis (Polypodiaceae) is chromatographically distinct from the native antheridiogen of Pteridium aquilinum (Polypodiaceae). It also differs from the native antheridiogens of Lygodium japonicum and Anemia phyllitidis (Schizaeaceae). Keywords
