Excited States inO16near 11 Mev

A search was made for excited states in ${\mathrm{O}}^{16}$ in the region of 11-Mev excitation using the counter-ratio method to detect slow-neutron thresholds in the reaction ${\mathrm{N}}^{15}(d, n){\mathrm{O}}^{16*}$. Thresholds were observed which correspond to excited states at 10.935±0.010 and 11.061±0.015 Mev. A review of all the present experimental information on the excited states in this region is given.
