Abstract
The transformation called the space-translation method upon the non-relativistic molecule-radiation Hamiltonian is extended to higher multipole orders and to the situation where the radiation field is part of the dynamical system. Comparison is made with other interaction Hamiltonians for one-photon processes on and off the energy shell. Keywords
