Abstract
This study was undertaken to establish the effects of work experience in a nursing home on attitudes toward death. Twenty-eight white nurse aides of varying ages, lengths of employment, and death experience were interviewed on their thoughts about dying and death and their responses compared to determine the effect of experience. It was found that work experience in a nursing home encouraged the avoidance of death. Keywords
