Abstract
This article describes the use of combined cognitive-behavioral and insight-oriented psychotherapy with an 11-year-old boy who had severe obsessive-compulsive disorder of recent onset. Treatment was well accepted by the child and his parents and resulted in rapid relief of symptoms. At 12- and 18-month follow-ups this child was functioning well at home and in school. Keywords
