METASTATIC CUTANEOUS squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) represents the most common parotid gland malignancy in Australia. This is because cutaneous malignancy is very common in Australia, with about 20% of skin cancers being SCCs and many of these arising on the skin of the head and neck.
