Abstract
Snails exposed, under uniform controlled conditions, to 1, 3, 7 and 12 miracidia, produced an increasing percentage of cercariae-producing individuals as a result of increasing numbers of miracidia used for exposures. At exposure levels of 1-7 miracidia per snail decreasing but still significant percentages of snails fail to shed cercariae within a 10-week period after exposure. Keywords
