Abstract
We report here the results from an analysis of the mapping of an easy-plane ferromagnet on the sine-Gordon theory. The mapping is found to be inadequate except for very small velocities and magnetic field. The real system contains many rich and interesting features, including soft modes and instabilities that can be analyzed. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
