Abstract
A radiographic scale is described, showing various degrees of development of rickets, for use in estimation of vitamin D by measurement of its prophylactic effect. If a large number of animals is used and the doses of vitamin are confined to the more limited range of the radiographic method. the accuracy is greater than with bone analysis. The prophylactic radiographic scale was less satisfactory than the curative scale. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
