Abstract
The modal number of chromosomes in embryos of Bufo arenarum is 22. They are arranged in 3 groups: Group I has 5 pairs of long chromosome; Grup II has 4 pairs of medium-sized chromosomes; Group III has 2 pairs of short chromosomes. There are 3 pairs of sub-metacentrics; the remainder are metacentrics. One pair displays a constant secondary constriction in one arm. There is no evidence of sexual dimorphism. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
