Abstract
There are 24 species (one probably new) comprising 14 genera of thrips listed, along with hosts on which they were collected in Arizona from 1953-58 by the writer and/or associates (exceptions indicated). The records indicate that Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande) was outstandingly dominant with a wide range of hosts. Unusual records as pests or potential pests of cotton are those of Frankliniella gossypiana Hood, Kurtomathrips morrilli (Moulton) and Scritothrips sp. Prob.
