Abstract
Kerma equivalent factor, kerma factor and quality factor have been calculated for photons and neutrons in the photon energy range from 0.1 keV to 20 MeV and in the neutrons energy range from thermal neutron energies up to 20 MeV. The most recent recommendations regarding tissue composition, the LET data for charged particles and more recent cross-sectional data for photon and neutron reactions induced in tissue have been used. This information can be used to estimate the radiation dose equivalent and to interpret the tissue-equivalent rem meter energy responses. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
