Human Lymphocyte Alloantigen(s) Similar to Murine Ir Region-Associated (Ia) Antigens

Abstract
Summary: An anti-HL-A human alloantiserum contained antibodies specific for B lymphocyte alloantigen(s). These antigens were distinct from HL-A antigens and, unlike the latter, were closely associated with B lymphocyte Fc receptors. By analogy to the mouse, we suggest that these antigens are associated with an Ir gene region linked to the HL-A locus.
