Abstract
A new method for the measurement of surface tension has been investigated. It depends on the experimental determination of the maximum height attained by a drop hanging from a vertical tube, and comparison with theoretical values by simple interpolation in a table. The method offers several experimental advantages and is especially suitable for the measurement of liquid-liquid interfacial tensions. Keywords
