Abstract
When confronted with a powder mixing operation, the properties of the materials have to be initally considered. If they are free flowing, they will be subjected to random mixing and to segregation. A suitable mixer will be chosen largely on the basis of avoiding dead-spots, rapid randomisation and avoiding segregation. Keywords
