Abstract
Various endeavors have been made to obtain recycled aggregates for concrete crushing concrete demolition wastes and rejected concrete. However, studies had not been made in the past regarding mix proportions and workabilities of concretes using recycled aggregates or the strength characteristics of such concretes when used in structures. The authors performed experiments on the placeabilities of recycled aggregate concretes using actual ready-mixed plants and structures, and made studies on adjustments of mixing, water contents and air contents, pumpabilities, etc. As a result, it was shown that recycled aggregate concrete can be designed, manufactured, placed, and cured by the same methods as ordinary concrete. Keywords
