Abstract
A negative pressure bubble chamber utilizing isopentane for the sensitive fluid is described. The chamber is of all glass construction which gives it a comparatively long sensitive time and allows the use of 90° stereophotography with consequent advantages in the speed and accuracy of analysis. An approximate theory for negative‐pressure bubble chambers is given. The construction and operation of the chamber is described. Keywords
