Abstract
Two children with acute urinary retention due to obstructing bladder diverticula are presented. This is an extremely rare but significant complication of congenital bladder diverticulum. The possible mechanisms of this complication are discussed. Voiding cystourethrography can provide the correct diagnosis. Keywords
