Abstract
Measurements of the spatial dependence of UWB (2-8 GHz) channels were made for a residential propagation environment using a network analyzer. Measurements indicate spatial correlation lengths ranging from about 2 to 6 inches for both LOS and NLOS geometries. The angle-of-arrival distribution showed discernible frequency-dependent rays of scattered energy and a strong component of narrow angle scatter energy. The LOS link appeared to be limited to about 10 degrees. For the NLOS link the angle-of-arrival distribution was wider. Keywords
