Abstract
Polycrystalline samples of Fe3O4-xFx with 0 < x < 0.25 have been prepared by pressure-sintering. Measurements are reported of the resistivities and Seebeck coefficients as a function of temperature. Simple narrow band or small-polaron models do not appear to describe the behaviour of the Seebeck coefficient of this system. It is suggested that the results can be explained by Anderson localisation of the charge carriersKeywords
