Abstract
Proton scan images represent static distributions of free water (fat or oil) contained in biological specimens. The images do not always coincide with the shape perceived by the eye. In plants, the relatively slow mobile proton distribution makes in vivo studies possible. Static or time dependent magnetic fields, in addition to uniform static magnetic fields, are required to achieve spatial discrimination of the spin system. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
