Abstract
Antigens were prepared from human testes by extraction and lyophilization. Guinea pigs were immunized by intradermal injection of antigen in adjuvant. Ileal and uterine anaphylactic and agar gel double diffusion tests were carried out. It was shown that antigens can be extracted by the method described, that the injection of these antigens does not cause toxic symptoms in guinea pigs, and that a cross-reaction exists between antigens of human and guinea pig testicles. Ilea from immunized guinea pigs did not react to homologous testicular homogenate or sperm. Human sera obtained from infertile individuals yielded precipitin reactions with testicular antigen. Keywords
